There is a saying that goes, a new year means a new you. Well, we are now venturing into another 12 blank chapters of 2018. It is up to us to start filling each chapter beautifully. Don't stick to your mundane routines. Put some sparks into your life. For a change, dare yourself to complete a challenge (or two) from the list below. It's a good way to start your 2018 journey.

1.    Reading Challenge

Do you love books? If one of your new year's resolutions is to read more, reading challenge (also known as book challenge) is something that you need to try. You can set a specific number of books to be read each month or the entire year. Alternatively, pick any reading challenge from the internet with certain lists to be completed. By doing this, you will be able to broaden your reading horizons and not sticking to one genre of your liking only. So, find your favourite spot, settle in with your comfy pyjama or sleepwear and start reading now.

2.    Money Challenge

Taking a money saving challenge is a great way to save some extra cash apart from training yourself to be wiser with your money. There are various types of money challenge out there: - 365 days money challenge, 52 weeks and even RM5 money challenge (each time you have RM5 in your possession, set it aside as savings in  jar or your piggy bank instead of using it). Ask your family members or your best friends to save right along with you. From time to time, share the progress with each other.

A picture is worth a thousand words. If you are the type of person who loves to cherish memories with pictures, then photo challenge is your thing. You can opt for a simple photography challenge such as ‘A Photo a Day Challenge’ or ‘Can't Miss Photos to Take Each Month’. You can also form a group and compete with each other based on the list that you choose.
