1.      Cry and be done with it

Cry. Just let it go and don’t be ashamed of it. There’s nothing like a good cry to make you feel better. We recommend spending no longer than 3 days doing it (if the need arises) and after you’re done with all that weeping, dry your tears, get up and look forward to a new and fresh day.

2. Write a journal

So the crying hasn’t helped and you’re still feeling down. Write instead. Write down all your feelings and don’t miss out anything. If you don’t have a diary, you can use a piece of paper and after pouring your heart out throw it away and be rid of all that anger and sadness. It’s quite therapeutic so do have a go.

3.      Listen to inspiring songs

Stop yourself from listening to sad songs (because it’s so easy to fall into this trap). Instead just focus on inspiring and uplifting songs that encourages you to stand up tall and become the strong woman or man that you already are.

This is necessary. Bring down pictures, burn old love letters, delete text messages and unfriend your ex on social media. Trust me, this is all for your own sanity and you won’t regret doing it.
