What's better than celebrities in costume? Celebs dressed up as other famous people

Halloween 2018 has yet commence and is just around the corner, but the recent weekend saw most of the excitement. Celebs decked out in their season's best at some of the most exclusive parties in tinseltown. Casamigos, the tequila company founded in 2013 by George Clooney, Mike Meldman and Rande Gerber saw some of the hottest getups this year. Celebrities didn't look too far for inspiration—fellow famous friends and icons provided key costume looks. For starters, Cindy Crawford aka Mrs. Gerber made musically-themed costumes a family affair—The Mr. and Mrs. dressed up as David Bowie and Blondie, while Kaia channelled her inner tough-girl rocker as Joan Jett (and Presley kept in the family costume as a generic rock star?).

Beyoncé paid homage to ballad queen of the '90s, Toni Braxton by recreating the singer's album cover in 1993. Queen Bey transformed into 'Phoni Braxton' with the help of a white tank, faded high-waisted jeans, leather motorcycle jacket topped off with gold embellishements and a cropped dark pixie. Rita Ora got her plaid on and face tattoos as Post Malone (post haircut), Ryan Seacrest donned a white wig and oversized dark sunglasses in honour of fashion icon and Chanel's creative director, Karl Lagerfeld. Harry Styles looked to fellow Brit and music man Elton John in a sequinned Dodgers baseball uniform, a near to identical to the ensemble the icon wore in 1975 (A biopic of Elton John with Harry Styles as the star needs to happen now). Devon Windsor and fiancé Johnny Dex brought back the noughties with Britney and Justin's iconic denim look but Nicky Hilton as her sister Paris definitely takes the cake with the 2000's reference.
