1. Always be grateful
Gratitude has been scientifically proven that it can improve our health, relationships, career making you happier and more optimistic, as well as less lonely and isolated. The more time you take to think about all the things you have to be thankful for, you will feel that negative vibe fade away. It’s up to you whether or not you choose to seek it out positivity and live with it. Oprah Winfrey once said,” Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough”.
2. Start your day the night before
We all have projects, work, assignments and requirements that takes up our time – things that we need to manage. Likely, your to-do list is longer than you can complete it in one day. For every task on the list, include as much as possible of the information so there is literally no excuse for not getting the job done. For example, if the task involves calling someone, include that person’s phone number on the list so you would not waste time searching for it later. Or even pack your bags the night before rather than doing it last minute so you are well prepared. Once you have a list of the things you need to accomplish, set priorities and decide which tasks should be done first.
3. Stay positive
Trying to be optimistic does not mean ignoring the bad sides of life. It just means focusing on the positive as much as possible and it gets easier with practice. If you want to feel positive, it pays to stay away from the downers in your life. With practice, you can resist negative thoughts and perhaps even transform your internal critic into more of a cheering squad. You may have been running negative messages in your head for a long time. If thoughts of being hopeless and helpless continue to enter your mind, just take a nap or chat with someone who can help to maintain your positive emotions.
