Everyone knows what makes them feel happy but it cannot be denied that there are some things that can get in the way of it all. Whether you realize it or not, even the smallest things can interfere with you achieving a positive life. If you feel that you need a break and turn your life into a more cheerful spirit, check out these five things that might be getting in the way of your everyday happiness.

1.     People around you

The best way to achieve happiness is to surround yourself with positive people. The people who supports you, gives words of encouragement and never tries to bring you down. The positive vibe that these people portray exudes into your daily life giving you that good feeling all day long. Try to stay away from people who always feel critical towards other people and speak out negativity.

 

2.     Lack of sleep

This is a no-brainer but definitely something that contributes to being unhappy. Not having enough sleep leads you to feel moody and angry. This will make you display a negative attitude which jeopardizes your relationship with others too. So get at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep every single day for your body and mind to rest from a long day.

 

3.     Stress Build Up

 Yes, we can never avoid stress in our life but letting it build up inside of you is not a healthy thing to do. Therefore, if you are stress with whatever that is happening in your life, try to take your mind off these things once a week by doing yoga, reading a novel, dancing to your favourite tunes or go out with friends.

 

4.     Putting yourself last

 It can be pretty hard to put yourself first especially if you are a mom or building an empire but there are times where you definitely need to take care of yourself first. This is because if you are not in a good state of mind and health, you could not be the best of who you are. Although it may be hard, take some time to achieve what you want slowly, set an hour to pamper yourself or reward yourself with a new dress.
