The THREAD Magazine started its reign in 2015 and was initially named, ZALORA Community Magazine. ZALORA’s goal was to provide relevant creative content in various categories from beauty, fashion, travel, lifestyle, entertainment and relationships for their valued customers while giving a platform for bloggers alike to gain exposure and attend fashion shows with ZALORA. Acquiring external writers with whom they have worked before in the past and working together with them to give great content for readers surely turned into an amazing project for ZALORA.
The ZALORA Community Magazine was then merged with ZALORA’s main Magazine in order to combine all ZALORA’s campaign news together with the creative content features under one roof. This effort was definitely a great call as it helped ZALORA in discovering what types of topics that appeals to their readers. Since its conception, Aini Shah, has steered the direction of the magazine through various changes other than providing content herself and grateful for the amazing support she gets from the external writers throughout these years. THREAD also has a new internal contributor, Dini Azri, who brings his own creative flair to the magazine content.
After fours year, THREAD Malaysia has decided to do a total revamp of our Contributors page to be more aligned with ZALORA’s image. Playing with monochrome outfits with black and white backgrounds representing the colour of the ZALORA logo, each writer now has a more professional looking profile where readers can refer and put a face on every article written on the magazine. Now the page is fresh and newer than ever before!
