You've seen shades of brown artfully mastered by the street style crowd at the recent men's fashion week, but what about tonal dressing that incorporates other hues you wouldn't think of wearing from top to toe? While this trend has been around since 2017, it's only recently that both celebs and brands have been donning looks featuring varying tones of one hue. Case in point: the street style bunch at Paris Couture Week most recently.
The key is to work with complementary shades from the start, then infuse another contrasting colour (by way of accessories, we suggest) to shake up the look. Alternatively, you can layer different proportions and textures for added dimension to your #ootd i.e. throw on a velvet coat over tweed separates for a hint of unpredictability.
