Summer is ongoing and you know what that means, don’t you? It is time to hit the beach! We got lots of beautiful beaches here in Malaysia but none of that matters if you do not play your part there, and that is to be the visual treat for people around you. You do not have to wear clothes with lots of functions, honestly. You just need to sit there and look pretty.
In order to do that though, you need fashionable clothing items to grab everyone’s attention at the beach. We have some ideas for you to try on and we think it would be effective on achieving that goal.
1. Printed swimwear
We are pretty sure you have some sort of swimwear stored in your wardrobe, but do you have one in prints? If not, you better get on a shopping spree and buy one for yourself. Get rid of your boring ol’ plain swimming attire and choose ones in summer prints. Florals are a good start and animal prints are the advance summer fashion move. It does not matter though as long as your outfit is printed, you are good to go.
2. Comfortable footwear
When on the beach, comfort is also one of the factors that you should take into consideration with your outfit. You do not want to be that person who always complain even at a place as beautiful as the sandy beach. Well, now you can get comfortable at the beach in style. Ditch your sneakers and get a pair of comfy slip-ons or sandals. This way, those irritating sand that always get into your shoes are no more.
3. Fun jewelleries
It is not advised to have jewelleries when going to the beach. But if you have to, we suggest novelty ones that you would not normally wear, say, to a dinner date. Get the craziest, wackiest one you can find and show off that bling. Have a little fun with your accessories. What is summer without a little fun anyways, right?
4. Pastel colours
If that sounds a little too much for you, it is okay. This does not mean that you can’t standout from the sea of half-naked people. What you can do is subtly getting on trend beachwear which will surely turn heads even if your outfit is not the eye-catching kind. Pastel has been the colour this summer, so why don’t you apply a little bit of that onto your swimwear?
