Dressing Up for Your Next Zoom Meeting

As our Movement Control Order (MCO) days go by, a lot of us are getting used to the fact that the only way to communicate with one another is through calls. There is this online chat service that people are using nowadays, and it is called Zoom.

For those who have never heard of it, Zoom is a videotelephony and online chat service that people can use to interact with each other virtually. And due to people working at home now, Zoom is the preferred medium for workers to attend meetings, answer conference calls, and many more.

Although we know most of you are Zooming with no pants on, we want to suggest you to at least dress up sometimes especially when it is for an important call. Here are some style suggestions that you can try on during your next Zoom meeting.

1.    A unique button-up

Even if you are still at home, you want to maintain a professional appearance whenever you are on Zoom with your colleagues. Therefore, a simple button-up would do the trick as it is always a go-to top when it comes to office wear. Add a cute bandana scarf around your neck to accessorize your look.

2.     Office skirt for the bottom

Yes, the no-pants look is what everyone is doing now but put some effort onto your bottom half of your style with a simple office skirt. It does not have to be too formal though since nobody is going to see it, but the feeling of professionalism is what matters for you.

3.    Pop some colours

We know office looks can be a little boring especially during MCO where you will only grab the closest thing you have to just cover up your body. So, why not have a little fun with your look and add a little colour to it? Find a bright hue that radiates through your screen like a hot pink get-up.

4.    Get into the Raya mood

Since Raya is just around the corner, get into the mood with a kurung that will certainly give off a festive vibe even if you are in quarantine. Because if MCO is not going to let you out to any open houses during Raya, you got to bring Raya to people’s houses via Zoom.
