Is there anything Queen Bey can’t do? The multi-platinum singer/songwriter/actress/businesswoman is now expanding her empire into activewear too.
Ivy Park, her new activewear brand for women, is a joint venture and standalone brand she created with Sir Philip Green, the chairman of the Arcadia Group, a retail giant that includes TOPSHOP, TOPMAN, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, and more. Ivy Park already has numerous retailers on board and will be available online and instore in TOPSHOP, Nordstrom, Net-a-Porter, Zalora, Selfridges and The Iconic to name a few.
On why she decided to create her label, she said, “When I’m working and rehearsing I live in my workout clothes, but I didn’t feel there was an athletic brand that spoke to me. My goals with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical.

Through the brand, Beyoncé aims to change the way we perceive women. Building “strength”, being “healthy” and encouraging “wellness” are valued over “skinny”. It is about celebrating the accomplishments of women and raising a generation of women who respect their bodies inside and out.
The pieces incorporate technology without compromising on comfort so women can perform at their peak in Ivy Park. Leggings are made of a breathable, sweat-wicking fabric that fits like a second skin, allowing for maximum movement when you work out.
Apart from the meticulous design process, there are several different legging styles available: the low rise, mid-rise and high rise which come in the capri, the crop and full length. Other signature pieces include bodysuits, medium-impact sports bras and tank tops, hoodies and jersey vests to layer with.
